What is the best home based business to start reasonable start up costs?
I’m sick of working my butt off for horrible hourly wages making other people rich, so I’m thinking about starting my own business but can’t figure out a home based business to start. I am very hard working and dedicated so long hours are not a problem for me, but I’m looking for something with lower start up costs that is interesting and profitable.

How to get a home based business started?
I have a great idea for a home based business but I have no clue how to get started. I have the business plan and how to make it profitable. I just don’t know about the legal side and how to start and how much money I would need to start it.
Wayne II answers:
Forget college courses and all that cause they don’t prepare you for the real world.
Do two things…
1. Go to a business center in your local city. They’ll have business advisor’s like chambers of commerce. They’ll have information on the set up, legalities, and even contacts of accounts.
But do not put faith in them. Just use them to direct you to the right information.
2.You can also get an accountant too who will know about tax stuff etc.
Hopefully you have done tests on the market, and have figures really showing that your market niche is profitable.
Personally, I started with nothing much because I started from my own home based business and still run it from home . Works great because the power of the Internet now and because I can outsource too.

Does anyone know of an honest home based business?
I have been looking into home based business for awhile now and have yet to find an honest-to-goodness home based business that is for real and that I don’t need a large amount of money up front. Any ideas?
Wayne II answers:
The key for a “home based business” is to determine what your interests are, what you want to do, what is suitable for your lifestyle and your overall goals, and what can fit with your resources.
Dan Ramsey in his book “101 Best Home Businesses” has a chapter on how to find YOUR best home based business. He suggests these 10 steps:
1. List 5 things you do best
2. List how others would benefit from what you do best
3. Find out how to give people what they want
4. Learn the value of your services to others
5. Find out who else offers similar services
6. Learn from the successes of others
7. Learn from the failures of others
8. Plan your own success
9. Make low cost mistakes
10. Enjoy what you do and how you do it
